Being a Twin Mom

When the dr. said "What do you think about twins?" My answer was, "Umm, I am OK with that" What else are you supposed to say? NO I want THAT one? Now, nearly 21 months later, I am still in love with those 2 little peanuts I saw that day.

Being a twin mom DEFINITELY has its ups and downs. There are 2 to love and snuggle, 2 diapers to change, 2 monkeys you have to dress hoping the first one stays dressed while on the second one. There are some moms out there that I SERIOUSLY owe my sanity to. They are going this twin-tastic adventure right along with me.

For those that have never experienced twins, you have NO comparison, I guarantee. I truly want to pull my hair out when I hear "I had my kids 10 (14,16, whatever) months apart so I know what you are going through" Well, unless your 10 month old is VERY delayed you have NO idea. 2 waking infants that want nothing more than mommy to hold them, 2 screaming hungry babies that can't hold their bottle, 2 toddlers that won't stay in their beds, 2 toddlers that have the "I DO IT" attitude when it comes to feeding. 2 sick kids (because they HAVE to do it at the same time).

As we get closer to their 2nd birthday I get sad that my babies are now little people, and they will probably be my only babies. I truly enjoy every moment with them, some more than others.
